Every day, we must be prepared for battle. Every day, we must…      

ARMOR UP.

God, today by faith in Jesus Christ, I put on the (1) BELT OF TRUTH. I thank You today that I know who I am in Christ  a child of God whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Lord, by faith I put on the (2) BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS to help me react to situations and people the way You want me to, not the way I may want to. Before I wake up, Lord, put on my feet the (3) BOOTS of the GOSPEL OF PEACE that I may be used by You to share Your love with others. Father, I take up the (4) SHIELD OF FAITH knowing as I place my trust in You today, You will protect me from the devil’s attacks and not allow anything to touch me. Lord, I also put on the (5) HELMET OF SALVATION. Protect my thinking from things that don’t line up with Your will. Father, I arm myself with the (6) SWORD OF THE SPIRIT which is YOUR WORD. This is my only offensive weapon but it is also defensive so that when Satan attacks me, I am armed and ready to  repel all his arrows. The victory has already been won. I march today under that great victory flag, washed by the blood, armed with the Word, dressed in the armor of righteousness, believing and thanking You for what You are going to do. Lord, I pray today that I recognize the enemy and claim VICTORY as I am properly prepared to face every challenge by Your overcoming, almighty power. In Jesus name. Amen.

HISTORY

The Servant Warrior® Ministries concept was born in 2002 out of my own need as a man, a father, and a husband.  Losing my father at the young age of 15, I know first-hand what it means to try and live up to unrealistic expectations that are often placed on guys, at all ages, by society. According to society, men are to be supermen, infallible, masculine, feminine, understanding, tough, soft, accommodating, leaders, subservient, caring, disciplinarians, breadwinners, stay home dads, at the forefront, in the background, enablers, have all the answers, better not offend women, be the boss, be the employee…any need to continue? The say these are contradicting expectations is an understatement.

Our homes, churches, communities, our country, all are screaming for real men but scared to death for them to actually come forth. Generations of guys are being raised with the idea that they are not accountable for their actions, that there is no right or wrong, that someone will always bail them out, that somebody else will handle it. No. Unless we, Godly, Christian guys, step forward and accept responsibility for the condition of our communities…our churches…our homes, we are doomed to repeat the vicious circle of fostering generations of unaccountable, irresponsible, unethical, immoral, and weak minded men who will inevitably take those ungodly traits into the marketplace, into our churches, our homes, our government. Unfortunately, not enough guys are coming forward, stepping up to the plate. Why? Well, the contradicting list of what a man is supposed to be in today’s society is a beginning. Men are afraid of admitting we are not supermen, infallible, all-knowing, etc… there is a permeating sentiment throughout the men of today that if we admit shortcomings in any of the areas mentioned above, we will be seen for who we really are…men.  Men are not infallible. Men don’t have all the answers. Men are not supermen. Men are men. Men are exactly what God created…and He hasn’t changed the model since Adam. Apparently, the Almighty got it exactly right the first time. Why is it so hard for us to admit we are what we are?

There is a misguided perception that exists among the men, amongst the guys, of our country and beyond that we are lone ill-equipped, unprepared, and wounded soldiers going into battle against an unbeatable enemy, on their turf no less. Every facet of that is ‘just plain wrong’. Facing the enemy is a true team sport and has been since day one.  Guys have an inherent need to identify with and be a part of something, with like-minded individuals, with other guys of similar interests; To be a part of a team. This is true regardless of background, beliefs, etc… It happens in our churches, in schools, in our communities, in the marketplace, on the sports fields, everywhere. And it is not just for adult men. It starts at a very young age. 

Most traditional men’s ministries, when they can be found, are geared toward adults. We need to teach our youngest of young men what God expects of men and begin teaching them what it means to be an authentic Godly man. 

Servant Warrior® Ministries has something for every age group from elementary school through adult coupled with resources for every stage of a guy’s walk from the non-believer with questions to seasoned and mature Christian. Having resources for the younger men, we will begin to equip upcoming generations with the tools necessary to be the men God has called them to be; events, programs, and studies that bring together father and sons, adult men, youth, and any combination of the age groups. 

Additionally, the farther we stay outside of the box and the traditional “ministry” model and hang out on the edge of the envelope in creating programs, the more likely we are going strike a nerve, draw guys in, and have an opportunity to impact them; From edgy, almost to the point of radical, to “traditional”. The twelve were radical. Jesus was radical. It’s ok to be out on the edge and out of the boat…as that is where Jesus is. All with the base of Truth rooted in God’s Word.

The traditional ministry model often does not include a true outreach component for reaching guys in the marketplace. Outreach and connecting with the men in the marketplace and the community as a whole is one of the primary missions of Servant Warrior® Ministries.

In essence, we want to be the vendor of the gasoline, energy drink, the fuel that powers guys’ engines. That fuel is the Holy Spirit working in and through them in their service to one another, their sphere of influence, and beyond. It’s the camaraderie – the Esprit de Corps – of men joining together in a common mission and goal – to be who God created and called them to be.

  • Reach out to and engage communities through media, entertainment, conferences, and events to bring people of all ages together to inspire and empower, and challenge them, especially the guys, to step up, step forward, and rebuild and strengthen the foundational pillars of our society: our families and communities.
  • To reach guys, 5 to 105, where they are, and empower and inspire them to be who God created and called them to be in their professional, personal, and private lives…thus making all they are involved in and committed to better.
  • Share the love of Christ and radical discipleship through local, domestic, and international missions initiatives that will allow guys of all ages to use their God-given talents to impact others, their families, their businesses, and their communities.
  • Foster an environment of transparency and realness where struggles and issues are faced head on, collectively, with love, understanding, and tenacity…an environment completely reliant on Almighty God and His perfect will.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

 The Bible is the Inerrant and Inspired Word of God.

The Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God, the only written revelation from God to man. The Bible is infallible and the authoritative rule of faith and conduct for mankind (John 17:17, II Timothy 3:15-17, I Thessalonians 2:13, Hebrews 4:12, & II Peter 1:21).

There is one true God.

God is called by many different names because of the different dimensions of His personality, but God is one (Deuteronomy 6:4). God is super-dimensional and eternally self-existent (Jn. 8:54-59). God is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. He is the creator of the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1&2). While God is one, He has revealed Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, the eternal Son of God. The Scripture declares his virgin birth (Matthew 1:18-23); His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26 & I Peter 2:22 & I John 3:4,5); His miracles (Acts 2:22 & 10:37-38); His substitutionary death on the cross (II Corinthians 5:21 & I Peter 2:24 & I Corinthians 15:4); His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:1-6 & I Corinthians 15:4); His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9,11 & Philippians 2:9-11); and is the only way to Heaven (John 14:6).

The Salvation of Man

The only means of salvation is Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12 & John 14:6) through a personal relationship with Him (Rev 3:20). He died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sins (I Peter 2:24). He offers each of us a pardon for our sins (Hebrews 9:26) and wants us to become children of God (John 1:12).

THE ARSENAL 

Programs, Awareness Vehicles, & Business Units

In today’s tough economy, discretionary income is shrinking and charitable donations are getting harder and harder to come by. Despite this fact, the market is still saturated with local, regional, and national non-profit organizations serving a multitude of needs and bringing awareness to many issues facing our nation and world today. As a result, donor bases are dwindling…as are actual gifts. Many organizations, especially faith based organizations, have had to face a difficult decision regarding their future. Some have merged with other organizations, others have “softened” or abandoned all together their faith-based message in lieu of getting revenue from sources like the United Way, while others have closed their doors all together. We will never “soften’ our message. Nor will we ever sell our souls for revenue.

Building solid brands, diversifying revenue streams, and creating and/or establishing revenue generating entities or functions within its organization have become the M.O. for successful and effective organizations. Servant Warrior® Ministries will be one of those organizations. And while most of the programs and awareness vehicles within the Servant Warrior® Ministries’ brand family will serve multiple purposes, (i.e., program, awareness) and have roles on the revenue side of the organization via sponsorships and donations, two, Servant Warrior® Promotions and 4R Entertainment™, will serve primarily as revenue generating entities, or businesses, within the organization.    

Below is the Servant Warrior® Ministries’ brand family, The Arsenal, with a brief description of each, preceding a more thorough description.  

The Keep: will be a venue that embodies Christ’s message in Matthew 25, celebrates Him and loves others as He loved. Its primary purpose is a drug-alcohol-tobacco free music venue for Christian alternative and rock music, as well as cross-over groups, with the goal to bring together all walks of life to minister to them through music and entertainment. The Keep™ also serves as store front offices for Servant Warrior® Promotions, house vocational training, as well as the base locations for the Armor Up Tour™. The overall goal is to have 25-30 venue sites across the country. (2018)

S.W.O.C. Servant Warrior® On Campus: S.W.O.C. is Servant Warrior® Ministries’ …Real …Radical …Relentless … Relevant… school campus initiative to reach our youth and young adults where they are, prepare them for the vicious battle waged against them daily by the world, challenge them to “Armor Up™”, and empower them with the Armor and Weapons they can use to overcome the enemy and walk victorious under God’s banner of victory. S.W.A.T. Spiritual Warfare Assault Training:  Servant Warrior® S.W.A.T is a training regiment and course for guys to become trained in spiritual warfare and how to combat the 24/7/365 spiritual warfare that is being waged against all generations by the enemy and his dark forces. There is a reason our military trains for hours on end in preparation for battle. It is to ensure that when they find themselves engaged with the enemy, they are prepared to do battle and win. 4R™ TV: 4R™TV, the video outreach of Servant Warrior® Ministries, Real…Radical…Relentless…Relevant…and wide open look at life, the world, and all aspects of what impacts us all on a daily basis to equip, encourage, inspire, and tackle some tough topics square on…topics that spark emotion, uneasiness, sometimes anger, fear, and perhaps even some uncertainty. I will not tiptoe around any subject and no subject is off limits.

Armor Up Tour™:  Armor Up is a worldwide initiative of Servant Warrior® Ministries and a call to action for men of all ages to gear up for the battle by putting on the full armor of God (Eph 6:11-18), take their spot on the wall (Nehemiah 4), and get ready for the battle of our lives…for our lives…and for the lives of those entrusted to us. We want to start a movement that engages and reaches out to youth and adults alike, inspiring them to action, empowering them to step forward, and charging them to Armor Up! In order to reach guys of all ages, interests, demographics, etc…we want to partner with musicians and artists, from local bands and artists to international stars representing various genres, backgrounds, and target audiences. (2018)

Tuesday Morning Bunch:  The ultimate goal is to have every time zone represented across the world. But we need to start right here…right now. Imagine the impact to our communities…to our country…to the world… if small groups of guys, of all ages, 3 or 4 strong, met every Tuesday morning at 6:30 in coffee shops, schools, restaurants, offices, wherever, in communities across the country. We would have guys praying for each other, for the needs in their community, for the needs in our country, for 4 hours every Tuesday morning. That just may start a revival. It definitely will make an impact. (Current)

Servant Warrior® Sportsman:  A movement to reach guys of all ages, where they are, would be missing its mark by light years if there was not an outdoor component to the outreach and awareness endeavors. It has been said that there is no way better to get close to God than to be outdoors…we agree. In order to maximize the effectiveness of furthering the Servant Warrior® mission, Servant Warrior® Ministries will partner with other organizations and businesses in the outdoor and sporting industries to reach guys, of all ages and interests, where they are, share the life changing message of Jesus Christ, and empower and inspire them to be who God created and called them to be. Servant Warrior® Sportsman would be a prominent feature on the Servant Warrior® Channel. (2018)

“Unabashed” Music Fest: “Unabashed” is a FREE admission faith-based alternative rock & metal music festival for the 12-25+ year olds…and those that still rock like them…with a vision to bring together community and fans of the hard and loud with local and regional bands who play it hard and loud. The difference between Unabashed and a regular rock festival? The Message.

Who says that a positive, uplifting, life changing, world changing, heart changing, eternity securing, soul saving Message can’t be delivered via paint peeling, roof blowing, earth shaking, bone rattling, heart pounding music that’s off the charts hard and mind blowing loud?

If God created everything and that everything was created for Him…we believe He did and it was as Colossians 1:16 tells us that “For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.”…then God created paint peeling, roof blowing, earth shaking, bone rattling, heart pounding music that’s off the charts hard and mind blowing loud! And, if we do follow the Lord’s directive given via the Apostle Paul…again in Colossians, this time in chapter 3 verse 17, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, given thanks to God the Father through Him.”, then we can make our Father in heaven smile from ear to ear as the Unabashed bands play and share a message, THE Message, to His children who need so desperately to hear it. It will just be done a little harder and louder at Unabashed!   

All are welcome…and we want everyone. No change is required to come to Unabashed. In fact, if the Unabashed crowd is not a colorful collection of people that look like temple goers as well as Levi’s dinner guests, then we’re doing something wrong. And if Unabashed 2014 was an indicator of what is to come, then we will once again see perceptions, biases, and closed minds…and hearts…be completely changed by the only One who can change them.

It’s a simple concept…but one that can change the world: Meet people where they are…Love’em like Jesus would… Rock the rafters… Change the world…!

Keep – Syllabification: (keep) Pronunciation: /kēp/

  1. food, clothes, and other essentials for living; the strongest or central tower of a castle, acting as a final refuge.

 The traditional use of a keep was a place of refuge, the strongest section of a castle, where one could receive food, clothing, shelter, and safety. It was a place, the FINAL refuge that provided protection from war, from attacks, from the enemy.

The Keep™, first and foremost, will be a venue that embodies Christ’s message in Matthew 25, celebrates Him and loves others as He loved. Its primary purpose will be two-fold. First, and most importantly, The Keep™ is a house of worship for the group that God has placed a burden on our heart for, the 12-25 year olds…& those who still rock like them. It will be a “church” in every sense of the word, from messages and Bible teaching from God’s word to ministry opportunities for the youth and entire families, all with the goal of: Meeting people where they are…Loving  ‘em like Jesus would…Rocking the rafters…and Changing the World! The kicker is that The Keep™ will not look, feel, or act like any “church” you’ve ever seen.

Second, The Keep™ will be a drug-alcohol-tobacco free music venue for faith-based alternative, rock, metal, country, rap, as well as cross-over groups, with the goal to bring together all walks of life to minister to them through music and entertainment. The Christian and faith-based alternative, rock, and overall music genres are growing in popularity and following but still remain a rather un-commercialized and “underground” segment of the Christian music and overall music scene. The listeners of Christian and faith-based alternative and rock music encompass both believers and non-believers and offers an incredible opportunity to bring together both groups and provide an open and safe environment that is conducive for realness, acceptance, transparency, love, and, God willing, eternal life change.

Christian, Faith-based alternative and rock appeals to and attracts our primary audience, the 12-25 year olds. The Keep™ will have the opportunity to reach a portion of our population that is slipping away from the Christian community and not attending church or relating to any Christian beliefs at all: Middle School, High School, and College aged students.

 In addition to the place of worship and music venue, The Keep™ will also be the home of   & , full service production, broadcast, and management companies for faith based & Christian media, film, artists, entertainers, and personalities. And… , a full service promotional apparel and merchandise company.

We also want to be a part of the positive economic development of the communities The Keep™ locations serve as each venue will house vocational training programs for those that would like to become technically trained in media/sound/film production, acting, film distribution and marketing, and more. A formal curriculum has been developed and we are incredibly excited about this aspect of the program as we will be reaching out to the veteran community to make the training available to them as well. Teaching people to fish, especially our young people, in a pond they enjoy is far more preferable than giving them fish.  The Keep™ venues will also serve as regional/local hub offices for SWOC (Servant Warrior® On Campus), the future Middle School-High School-College ministry from Servant Warrior®. The first location and where the replicatable model will be created will be in Marietta, GA, prayerfully on or just off the Marietta Square. The overall goal is to have 25-30 locations across the country. Our country and our kids need it. But it is not really in our hands. It is ALL up to God.

The Keep™, and its embodiment of Christ’s message to us in Matthew 25, will feed people…literally and figuratively. It will provide water…both liquid and living. It will clothe people…literally and figuratively. It will welcome ALL in…literally. It will reach out to and minister to the sick. And through our Servant Warrior® Ministries’ outreach, we will minister to those that are incarcerated.

The Keep™ will be a ministry component of Servant Warrior® Ministries, Inc. a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission to reach guys, 5 to 105, where they are, share with them the life changing message of Christ, and empower and inspire them to be the men God has created and called them to be.

Why is a ministry…a church…a venue…a vision…like The Keep  so important? We are losing more and more kids, the 12-25 year olds, because in most churches and ministry plans, the young are the afterthought…not the primary focus. Additionally, kids are finding very hard to relate to many pastors and youth leaders. Empowering the youth, as well as their families, will strengthen and equip future generations for their role in Kingdom work and prepare them for the battle that will rage for their souls. Additionally, given that Christian alternative music attracts a younger audience, The Keep™ will have the opportunity to reach a portion of our population that is slipping away from the Christian community and not attending church or relating to any Christian beliefs at all: Middle School, High School, and College aged students. While it is not our intention for The Keep™ to be in competition with area churches for the kids and their families with regards to membership. That is why the services will be at night. However, we want to be ready for those who want to call The Keep™ their church, their place, their spot…especially the 12-25 year olds!

 “The American Religious Identification Survey by the Institute for the Study of Secularism in Society & Culture at Trinity College is one of the most comprehensive studies on religion in America that has ever been done.

According to that study, 15 percent of all Americans say that they have “no religion”. That is up from 8 percent in 1990. That is quite a change. But the move away from religion is particularly pronounced among our young people.

One recent survey found that 25 percent of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 say that they have no religion.

Obviously the Christian faith is not winning the battle for the hearts and the minds of our young people.  The cold, hard truth is that in America today, the younger you are, the less likely you are to consider yourself to be a Christian.

Large numbers of young Americans that went to church while they were growing up are now leaving U.S. churches entirely.  A recent study by the Barna Group discovered that nearly 60 percent of all Christians between the ages of 15 and 29 are no long actively involved in any church.

But not only have they left the church, our young people have also abandoned just about all forms of Christian spirituality.”

There has never been a time in the history of the United States where its people, its policies, its practices, and its overall culture have been further away from God…despite the fact that never has there been more churches per square mile in the US than there are today. This is not an indictment of churches as many are doing so many great things. It is reality. There is also the sentiment that even though people in the US believe that religion and spirituality play lesser and lesser of a role in how we live, how we are governed, and overall how we live, the American people have said they do not want this not to be the case. 

Bottom Line: To think that the current way of doing things will change the trajectory of our country or its Kingdom compass on its own is foolishness. We must change how we do things. We must be Real…Radical…Relentless…Relevant…

Here’s the bottom line: We have to have the guts to be real as well as willing to venture far outside the “traditional” ministry model to the edge of the envelope…to the point of radical…if we are going to strike a nerve with guys…with people…of all ages, especially our youth, and have an opportunity to impact them. It’s okay to be out on the edge…out of the boat. That’s where Jesus is.

My heart breaks for the kids we lose every day to the enemy and the world. It also breaks for their families. It’s time to reclaim generations and ignite the Reclamation Revolution! My prayer and hope is that the 12-25’s, and others, see and say about The Keep™: It’s a place they can connect with and relate to where everybody’s welcome with no judgment. That it’s not a bunch of church people. It’s a cool place to hang out, hear great music of all kinds and powerful/relatable/relevant messages, do some pretty cool things, and experience the life changing message & love of Jesus, as well as an atmosphere they can’t explain but are blown away by. If they think that, lives will be changed and kids, and their families, will be reached.

In the book of Matthew, chapter 28 verse 19, Jesus gave the great commission to “Go and make disciples of all nations…”. Being young men
, and families, of character, integrity, sportsmanship, humility, grace, and confidence can have a significant impact on other young men and their families when done so in the arena of competitive youth sports. But Warrior Baseball is so much more than…baseball. Throughout 2016, we will also be:

  • Participating in outreach and community service events each month with specific focus on youth and teen outreach
  • Hosting chapel and devotional services at weekend baseball tournaments
  • Building and strengthening young leaders through mentorship and leadership training

Operation: Restore the Warrior: Since its inception, Jeff has had a Divinely inspired burning on his heart to add on a military ministry component to the Servant Warrior® Ministries’ platform. There is no doubt in his mind that there is not a segment of our population more in dire need of a Savior and more in need of “true freedom”, a freedom that only Jesus can provide, than our military population, past and present. Too many feel that they have no worth…no outlet…can’t deal with “the stuff”…don’t know who they are anymore. Too many feel that self medication, numbing the pain, even thrill seeking, are the only solutions…only to realize that it’s never enough. And far too many are coming to the conclusion that death is a better alternative to the life they are living or expect to live. Our Veterans, more than ever, are having a difficult time integrating back into a new normal and just coming to grips with who they are, what they have to offer, and what the future holds for them. 

We understand the landscape, the challenge, and the battles we, as guys, all face. We also know that things are only getting worse for our military and Veteran communities…that they are not going to fix themselves…and that something has to be done to reach these guys so dialogue can be started and a real path opened for God to come through. He is the ONLY one who can heal the physical and psychological wounds of a warrior. He’s the ONLY one who can heal a heart…restore a family…restore a soul. (2017)

The difference between Unabashed and a regular rock festival? The Message.

img_3136 Who says that a positive, uplifting, life changing, world changing, heart changing, eternity securing, soul saving Message can’t be delivered via paint peeling, roof blowing, earth shaking, bone rattling, heart pounding music that’s off the charts hard and mind blowing loud? We had a great event in Sevierville, TN in 2014 and look to replicate that across the country.

If God created everything and that everything was created for Him…we believe He did and it was as Colossians 1:16 tells us that “For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.”…then God created paint peeling, roof blowing, earth shaking, bone rattling, heart pounding music that’s off the charts hard and mind blowing loud! And, if we do follow the Lord’s directive given via the Apostle Paul…again in Colossians, this time in chapter 3 verse 17, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of unabashed-music-fest-2014-367the Lord Jesus, given thanks to God the Father through Him.”, then we can make our Father in heaven smile from ear to ear as the Unabashed bands play and share a message, THE Message, to His children who need so desperately to hear it. It will just be done a little harder and louder at Unabashed!

Starting 1 month prior to the event weekend, we’ll enlist prayer warriors across the country to commit to a specific 15 minutes each day, maybe even two or three 15 minute slots each day, to pray for the event, the attendees, the staff, the bands, etc…. The goal is to have prayer around the clock for the event until the Sunday night at midnight following the event. ARMOR UP TOUR™

Servant Warrior® Ministries is a Real…Radical…Relentless…Relevant movement to reach guys of all ages, where they are, share the life changing love of Jesus Christ, and empower and inspire them to be who God has created and called them to be.

Armor Up is a worldwide initiative of Servant Warrior® Ministries and a call to action for men of all ages to gear up for the battle by putting on the full armor of God (Eph 6:11-18), take their spot on the wall (Nehemiah 4), and get ready for the battle of our lives…for our lives…and for the lives of those entrusted to us.

We want to start a movement that engages and reaches out to youth and adults alike, inspiring them to action, empowering them to step forward, and charging them to Armor Up!

In order to reach guys of all ages, interests, demographics, etc…we want to partner with musicians and artists, from local bands and artists to international stars representing various genres, backgrounds, and target audiences.

Goal: Partner or secure relationship with Christian artists or groups: 1-4 national groups would be ideal with many artists and bands coming on at the local and regional levels. Because of obvious synergy between Servant Warrior® Ministries’ mission and approach and these groups’ lyrics, music, culture, we would like to reach out to headlining Christian: rock, alternative, country, rap, and heavy metal bands and artists. Host venues for the Armor Up Tour™™ shows would ideally hold 500-1000 for indoor venues and 1000+ for outdoor venues. All shows will be streamed live via the web and mobile apps.

However, we know that an endeavor such as this requires significant investment, resources, logistical support, and public awareness in order for the tour to be successful. Therefore, we are currently partnering with local, regional bands, and are in conversations with nationally known artists in order to promote Servant Warrior® Ministries during their current tour dates, shows, etc… We are working on merchandise collaborations as well as show promotions that will raise revenue and awareness for SWM and the Armor Up Tour™ initiative.

The Armor Up Tour™ Plan:

  • In 2016, have three (3) Armor Up Tour™ weekend events, consisting of multiple artists, bands, speakers, etc…, in addition to an Armor Up Men’s Conference in each area. All proceeds to support SWM, partner groups, and local ministries and outreach efforts. The Armor Up Tour™ weekends will be supported by various promotions, nationally and regionally, through radio and grassroots support. The number of events will grow to five (5) in 2017 and nine (9) in 2018.
  • Armor Up Tour™ regional promotions surrounding artists’ shows in churches, groups, organizations for Servant Warrior® Ministries’ Armor Up Tour™ Partners
  • Hold promotional and awareness events for Servant Warrior® Ministries and Armor Up Tour™, SWM partner artists and their shows
  • Multiple satellite radio tours featuring national artist or band, Servant Warrior® Ministries, local bands or artists, to target specific markets and areas in order to promote Armor Up events and artist shows in the area
  • Have full assortment of Servant Warrior® Ministries’ Armor Up Tour™ apparel promotional collateral and merchandise – co-branded with sponsor(s), some with artists (as approved), some with local and regional artists and bands
    • Apparel and merchandise to be sold at shows and online through various channels
    • Used a fundraising platform for local groups to sell Armor Up Tour™ gear with the net proceeds split between the group and SWM’s Armor Up Tour™

In order to meet the monetary demand associated with the Armor Up Tour™ initiative, we will need to secure a national title sponsor and regional sponsors. Additionally, we want to empower local groups to raise money and awareness, with 50% of the money raised going to the local group and 50% going to support Servant Warrior® Ministries’ Armor Up Tour™ & associated outreach endeavors. The ultimate goal is to have 9 per year in location across the country with The Keep™ locations serving as host locations.  

As we look into the future and the inevitable growth of The Armor Up Tour™, it only makes good business sense to establish event sites in order to increase promotion and attendance. Therefore, in addition to serving the communities where they reside, The Keep venues will also serve as stopping points and venues for The Armor Up Tour™. As the tour grows in attendance size, larger venues can be secured. Nevertheless, using The Keep venues as Tour sites will bring significant value and benefit to the Tour, the bands and artists, the community, and the organization. Until then, we are looking at potential host sites right now.

Merchandise

There will be full promotional apparel offering with Armor Up Tour™ hats, posters, silicone bands, bumper stickers, etc…a full assortment of promotional merchandise will be available for purchase. Our Armor Up Tour™ National Sponsors will have logo placement on the Tour shirts. The regional sponsors will have the opportunity to have shirts printed for the individual regional show. The Servant Warrior® Ministries’ Armor Up Tour™ merchandise and collateral will be in addition to the merchandise available from the Tour’s partnering artists and groups.

Additionally, as a component of the overall marketing, promotional, and engagement plan, we would like to have a Tour Design contest among the cities the tour would visit that year and have specific city/regional designs for apparel and other promotional merchandise, with a portion of the proceeds of the sales going to support the participating ministries within the Tour cities.

ARMOR UP™!

The Servant Warrior® Ministries’ Spiritual Warfare Assault Training Command or S.W.A.T. Command is a training regiment and course for guys to become trained in spiritual warfare and how to combat the 24/7/365 spiritual warfare that is being waged against all generations by the enemy and his dark forces. There is a reason our military trains for hours on end in preparation for battle. It is to ensure that when they find themselves engaged with the enemy, they are prepared to do battle and win. The training must become second nature and instinctual. In battle, if the environment you find yourself in is not what you were expecting, thus rendering the plan useless, training and instinct take over. We must prepare generations of guys, and girls for that matter, for spiritual battle.    

The S.W.A.T. course, training regiment, and resource kits will be available 1st quarter 2014. In addition to the training resources and materials, an actual training facility, which will also include actual war-fighter training, is being planned right now with the goal of opening Fall 2014. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 NIV 

Fact: 1 out 1 people die…with the overwhelming majority having no idea when or where it will happen.

Fact: Death is not optional. What is optional is how we die. So…“FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS DIE STUPID”

Don’t Die Stupid™ is a saying that has been used by the military for decades. It is simply a statement that makes the point of, well, don’t end up dead because you did something you knew you shouldn’t or didn’t do something you knew you should. In other words, don’t get shot in the head while holding your helmet in your hand. Don’t get shot in the chest with your body armor lying on the floor next to you. Or, don’t get shot in the backside because you didn’t dig your hole deep enough and half of your body could be seen by the enemy. Need we continue? It is about making sure you do the things necessary to reduce the chances of getting killed in battle. But at the end of the day, dying is inevitable and when God calls us home, we go. However, He also gives us the sense not to assist in a premature earthly exit.
There has never been a more important statement made…period…by anyone…than the one made by Jesus Christ when He told His disciples, “…I am the way and the truth and the life. Spending time in it is how we grow and strengthen our relationship with God and it is how He speaks to us.

Bottom line: if nothing else is obtained from time spent in God’s word, you had better get the fact that Jesus is the only way to heaven or else an eternity in Hell will be your fate. Period. End of story. Do not pass go and do not collect $200. Do not let the somewhat lighthearted nature of the Monopoly reference reduce the severity of the dying without knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Needless to say, its importance cannot be overstated.

Many Christian guys, at least we hope, leave church on Sunday uplifted and inspired only to have the world, on Monday, hit them in the head with that proverbial “reality baseball bat” welcoming them back to reality and the work week. For those who are not blessed to love their job or school and even those who do, the world and the daily grind of life has the ability to knock down even the most stalwart to the point of feeling beaten into submission. We need some rejuvenation and encouragement offered to and from other guys before the next day really starts or we could allow ourselves to get stuck in the mire for the rest of the week. Chances of positive productivity and being effective are slim. “There is no productivity in the mire…only survivability. And there is no thriving in simply surviving. God calls us to be something different.”

If men who are believers in Jesus Christ, who know of the Good News and the redemptive and overcoming power of Jesus and the hope and freedom that comes with knowing the King of Kings, feel beaten into submission by the realities of the world, what hope is there for those who do not know Christ? It is amazing they are able to survive week in and week out. They need to know, have access to, and interact with other men and see that they are not alone. What a great opportunity to get the week back on track, lift someone up, encourage them, and be encouraged. What a great opportunity to show someone Christ.

The goal of the Tuesday Morning Bunch, TMB, is to create an environment of transparency and realness where friendships are made and strengthened, struggles are faced head on, collectively, with love, understanding, and tenacity. An environment with no judgment, no pretense, but one completely reliant on Almighty God and His perfect will. And it doesn’t hurt to have some fun…be a bit wild…a little crazy…hang out on the edge. That’s what guys are supposed to do. The number of guys getting together each Tuesday doesn’t matter…it could be 3, 4, or 10. What DOES matter is that you get together on Tuesday morning. Be real. Respect each other and where each other are in their walk. One of your friends may not have one. Here is a great chance to lift someone up, encourage them, and share the love of Christ in a non-church type setting.

The ultimate goal is to have every time zone represented across the world. But we need to start right here…right now. Imagine the impact to our communities…to our country…to the world… if small groups of guys, of all ages, 3 or 4 strong, met every Tuesday morning at 6:30 in coffee shops, schools, restaurants, offices, wherever, in communities across the country. We would have guys praying for each other, for the needs in their community, for the needs in our country, for 4 hours every Tuesday morning. That just may start a revival. It definitely will make an impact.

So…that’s it. You have seen my heart. Here’s the bottom line: We have to have the guts to be real as well as willing to venture far outside the “traditional” ministry model to the edge of the envelope…to the point of radical…if we are going to strike a nerve with guys of all ages and have an opportunity to impact them. It’s okay to be out on the edge and out of the boat. That’s where Jesus is. I am committed to the call and vision God has given me and to the Servant Warrior® brand becoming one of the most recognizable and respected brands in the world and, more importantly, one that is solely focused on and embodies the passion, spirit, faithfulness, and love of, Jesus Christ.
