I’m back…

Posted: August 21, 2016 in Insights

Quick post…but will be getting back to slinging around thoughts, opinions, assertions, and observations…all likely to start a fire somewhere. I know we are inundated with experts, talking heads, and overall opinionated information that often boggles the mind and usually causes us to question the existence of grey matter between the ear canals of the pundit or commentator. I’m sure the same will be said of me. I’m okay with it.

I won’t be drafting long oratories of mindless babble. I simply don’t have the time. I’ll keep them as short as I can but still be effective in the message delivery.

With my new gig (actually year 2 and change) as a public school teacher and high school coach, I have SO much to talk about. At the end of the day, however, my goal make people think, encourage, challenge, and consider, quite possibly, a different perspective than their own. In fact, in the next post I’ll share with you what I share with every one of my classes, regardless of the subject, on the first day of every semester. Next time, we’re going to talk about Coach Searcy’s 3 P’s of Information. Trust me, only the brave and fearless will commit to applying them. I hope that’s you.

Until next time, remember: No matter you’re doing and regardless of the outcome, a win or loss is completely up to YOU.

See you in the trenches.
